V&A / Epic Iran

Luke Halls Studio was commissioned by the V&A museum and Gort Scott to design bespoke video installations for the Epic Iran exhibit.

I worked on a section entitled ‘Royal Patronage’, designing a dome projection installation, taking the V&A’s own collection of colourful painting ‘slices’ traced from decorative tilework of various buildings in Isfahan, Iran. Taking the slices and piecing them together to create the full dome pattern. Using animation to inform viewer’s of the way these dome tiles are designed and architecture constructed.
